Joint pain natural treatment and solution

Joint pain, or pain in the joints, can appear for many causes. Among the most common, we can highlight osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, bursitis, tendinitis and sprains and other types of injuries that affect the ligaments, tendons, and bursas that surround the joint.

It can occur anywhere on the body but it is on the knees, shoulders, and hips where it is most common to appear.

Severe joint pain, especially when caused by degenerative conditions such as arthritis, requires proper diagnosis and treatment. It is also important to see the doctor if the joint pain is accompanied by inflammation, redness and strange sensitivity, or if the pain persists for more than 3 days.

In the case of mild joint pain (or simply not very severe), we can get rid of joint pain with the help of home and natural remedies.

10 best home remedies for joint pain:
1. Massage
Therapeutic massage helps relieve joint pain by improving circulation and calming inflammation. In fact, several studies indicate that regular massage can help improve pain, stiffness, and movement in the affected joint.

To massage the affected area, we can use hot oil of coconut, olive, mustard or garlic, applying it on the affected area and pressing gently while doing the massage.

2. Hot and cold compresses
Alternating heat and cold compresses can also relieve joint pain. Heat treatment helps reduce pain, improve circulation and relax muscles and joints in the area. Cold treatment helps reduce inflammation and numbs the area around the affected joint.

Roll both compresses on separate towels before using them (do not apply directly to the skin).
Place the hot compress on the affected area for about 3 minutes.
Remove the warm compress and immediately place the cold compress in place for 1 minute.
Repeat the process for 15-20 minutes several times a day.
Note: Do not use heat therapy if the affected area is hot, red or irritated. Also, do not use cold therapy in case of circulatory problems.
3. Fenugreek
Fenugreek is a popular home remedy ideal for relieving joint pain thanks to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is particularly beneficial for those who suffer from arthritis.

Take a small spoonful of fenugreek seeds in powder, accompanied by a glass of warm water. Do this daily in the morning until you get positive results.
We can also soak whole fenugreek seeds at night, and eat them the next day in the morning.
4. Turmeric
Turmeric is an excellent Ayurvedic remedy for joint pain. It contains an active ingredient called curcumin that has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

In a study published in 2009, curcumin was found to be as effective as ibuprofen in relieving joint pain in patients suffering from osteoarthritis of the knees.

Mix a small spoonful of turmeric powder and a little honey in a glass of warm milk. Drink this mixture daily for several days to take effect.
Another option is to take capsules of 250 mg and 500 mg of turmeric, 3 times a day until we are satisfied with the results.
Note: Turmeric can interfere with certain medications (for example anticoagulants) and can worsen some gallbladder problems, so it is advisable to consult the doctor before taking this remedy on a regular basis.
5. Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar helps relieve joint pain by eliminating the accumulation of toxins in the joints and connective tissues.
Due to its alkalizing effect, it is particularly beneficial for people suffering from arthritis. It is also rich in minerals such as magnesium, calcium, potassium, and phosphorus.

Mix 1-3 small spoons of organic apple cider vinegar, with a little honey in a glass of hot water. Drink the solution 2-3 times a day (preferably before meals). We can continue taking this remedy regularly since, in addition to helping to relieve joint pain, it is good for our general health.
We can also mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with another of olive oil and massage the affected area.
6. Cayenne
Cayenne contains a compound called capsaicin that contains natural analgesic properties (relieves pain).

Heat (not too much) half a glass of coconut oil. Add 2 tablespoons of cayenne powder. Apply on the affected area and let stand for 20 minutes before rinsing. Do this several times a day until you get pain relief.
We can also use capsaicin cream by applying it directly on the affected area daily.
Note: Cayenne can cause a burning sensation. Do not apply directly on open wounds of the skin.
7. Epsom salt
Epsom salt baths facilitate the absorption of magnesium through the skin. Joint pain is often associated with low levels of magnesium in the body. In addition, magnesium helps reduce inflammation and helps detoxify cells.

Mix two glasses of Epsom salt in a bathtub with hot water.
Submerge our body or affected area in the water for at least 20 minutes.
Repeat the process 3 times a week until you feel relief in joint pain.
8. Garlic
Garlic is beneficial for those who suffer from arthritis and joint pain thanks to its high content of selenium and sulfur. Sulfur helps relieve joint pain and inflammation, and selenium has anti-rheumatic properties. It should be added that patients with arthritis usually have low levels of selenium in the blood.

Incorporate garlic into our diet (either raw or cooked). We can take 2-3 cloves of garlic daily without fear of possible side effects. If the taste or smell of garlic is a problem, we can consider taking garlic in the form of supplements.
We can also fry two cloves of garlic in two tablespoons of mustard or sesame oil. When the cloves of garlic turn black, we will extinguish the fire and we will strain the content to remain with the oil. Allow the oil to cool a little and use it to massage the affected area. Allow the mixture to take effect for at least 3 hours before rinsing it with water. Do twice a day to notice the improvement.
9. Ginger
Ginger is an excellent natural remedy for muscle and joint pain, thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties.

Drink ginger tea, or incorporate fresh or powdered ginger into our daily diet. To prepare the ginger tea, we must cut a small piece of ginger root and boil the piece in a glass of water for 10 minutes. To improve the flavor we can add honey to the mixture.
Another option is to mix the same amounts of ginger, turmeric and fenugreek powder. Take a small spoonful of this mixture daily in the mornings and in the evenings until you are satisfied with the results.
10. Salmon (omega-3)
Omega-3 fatty acids are necessary for optimal health and help reduce inflammation markedly. Fatty fish, like salmon, mackerel. Tuna or sardines are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which help reduce inflammation noticeably.

To be able to notice the benefits it is necessary to consume this type of fish a minimum of 2-3 times per week.
We can also take it in the form of supplements rich in omega-3 to reduce joint pain and possible stiffness.
